Theatre Artist/Educator

Hello. My name is Dan Spiropoulos.          

I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, focusing on the technical side of things. I have considerable knowledge and skills in carpentry, and lighting. I also was minoring in film before the program was dissolved unfortunately. However, I did learn a lot of videography techniques and video editing techniques as well. I continued my education at Louisiana Tech University, but ultimately, I did not finish that degree for personal and financial reasons. After not finishing my degree, I went to California to work for Kingsmen Shakespeare Company as an Electrician during their summer season.    

While I am currently a Technical Director and Assistant Director at a high school I have continued to study acting, directing, theatre design, stage combat, and musical theatre. Theatre is my passion and I love to learn and consider myself forever a student in its art form. I want to learn as much as I can and continually grow as an artist while doing what I love.
